Part of the egalitarian ethos of Warped is that all bands get the same amount of time onstage – however, on the 06 & 07 tours, Energizer’s “Keep the Music Going” campaign changed all that.
Tour producers worked with the brand to create a fan engagement campaign that allowed fans to vote for which band they wanted to play 10 minutes longer each day – additionally, each day the winning band was paid an additional dollar amount, furnished by Energizer. Fans voted not only to hear more from their favorite bands, but also to help them get down the road. Branding was online at the Warped site, in the voting platform site as well as on all onsite schedule boards. Artists & fans alike loved this promotion!!
